Attempted robbery, shooting on St. John's walking trail

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary's major crimes unit is asking for the public's assistance in a shooting investigation involving a person who attempted to rob a couple in the Virginia River and Logy Bay Road area of St. John's on Wednesday afternoon.
