The rot begins in Yukon's million acre woodlot

It's been several years now since the spruce bark beetle infestation in southwest Yukon ran its course, and some of that dead wood is starting to rot. The beetles attacked about 350,000 hectares of forest, leaving a good supply of useable firewood. But that firewood may only be useable for a few more years.
